Working to reduce childhood obesity
Missoula County Commissioner Jean Curtiss recently returned from a symposium in Washington D.C featuring First Lady Michelle Obama that was designed to let elected officials share strategies effective in addressing childhood obesity.
"Let's Move!" is a public/private partnership designed to enhance and build healthy environments for children and adults.
It's a project of special importance to Mrs. Obama who's made reducing childhood obesity a priority.
In tonight's feature interview with Edward O'Brien, Commissioner Jean Curtiss explains that there are few glimmers of hope when it comes to obesity, but that it still remains a very troubling issue.
